Mac-Specific Search via Google apps
All of us have run into a problem on a Windows computer. So what you do is to just type a little description of the problem and Google takes care of the rest. Different story for Mac users: we often need to include a little context in our search—instead of typing a query like text editor, you type text editor mac. Lifehacker lets us know how to circumvent this little hassle: A Google’s Mac-specific portal, found at http://google.com/mac/, now includes a Mac-specific search box. But the fun doesn’t stop here, there is even more: http://www.google.com/options/specialsearches.html
Now, someone has to write a firefox plug-in to have these as search engines. Who is up for the challenge?
