OS X english-german translation for dictionary.app, edit: windows too
Like you might know, there is this great function in os x: check any word in the dictionary by hovering this word with the pointer and pressing ctrl+command+d. Works in every cocoa application.
Philipp ‘Lipflip’ Brauner provides a package that enhances the dictionary.app with the complete english-german vokabulary from dict.cc for offline usage. You can also use it with “other core OS X services like Spotlight or Dictionary-Widget.”
The download is 124 MB big. You can get it here:
http://lipflip.org/articles/dictcc-dictionary-plugin

only for leopard, btw.
Edit:
I just found a similar tool for Windows Users: http://slicktionary.com/
You can test it 90 days. Or buy the SIngle User Licence for 9 €
