So i lately try to connect with my macbook to my Gentoo Linux PC in the office. Via SSH no problem, but when i tried to use a VNC tunnel i got the weirdest keyboard mapping ever and with that i couldnt type anything. That was very frustrating. It took me sometime until i found the solution in the fourth suggestion in this thread here.
